After completing my professional education in Mechanical Engineering, i wanted to be an adminstrator. I chased dreams. My parents were very reluctant to it though. My mother had lost her leg in an accident and was hospitalized. My dad had lost his job for a stint. I was at home. Nevertheless in these tiring times, i persuaded to continue my education. Christ College gave me a platform to excel in all the activites and brought out a talent out of the rough diamond to glitter. I excelled in academics and extra curricualr activites, be it with in the college or outside representing the college in outside forums. Me hard work and sincere efforts were recognized and was honoured with the "BEST OUTGOING STUDENT AWARD" for my batch.

Local Guy going International

It was the most nostalgic moment in my life. I was in the waiting list for a job which i had aspired for. My placement cell had just sent out a communication to me about it. I was dejected about it. All of a sudden an e mail pops up in my inbox and it says "You are shortlisted for an International Paper presentation competition at a seminar in Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai". It was a dream come true. I along with my fellow and a professor had presented a paper on " Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies". We had inveted a new statistical model called as "DKS" model. Which is know as Dikshit, Kalpesh and Shreyas. This news overshdowed my placement news and i was all out to go to Mumbai. The first ever international conference on Entrepreneurship and we were presenting a paper. Way to go christites!

Drishti was a paper presentaion competition at Christ College Institute of Management, (CCIM). It is based on DR. APJ' s Dream - Vision 2020. All first year management grads at the institute will have to present a paper. This will be review internall in their respective class and teams. Later the best among them will be choosen for the final presentation at the event organized by the college. Industry stalwarts will come and judge the event. Jerry Mukkadan, my dristi brother had presented the paper on Social Issues and was selected to be the best among our class mates which will go to the final presentaion. We were prepared for the presentation and the content had all the stuff to make people interesting. It had the Vande Mataram song sung by Lata mangeshkar at the end to pep the presentation. Jerry Mukkadan had given the technical blitz kreig to the presentaion and unanimously we were judged the best presenters for the show. Then on myself and Jerry were called as Drishti Brothers

Tryst with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

It was my first year of management education at Christ College Institution of Management CCIM). A green color poster is strikingly visible on our college notice board. It has an open invitation to all the B School students to participate in a business plan competion hosted by National Innovation Foundation (NIF), Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. It was a social innovation project, where all the rural innovations are segmented and offered as a real time business plan for students to commercialize the project. I was curious to explore this opportunity and created a team of 4. Team DRISHTI (Avijith Choudhary, Apeksha Chaplot, Paul William and myself). NIF had given the option of choosing our project. Based on our convience, logistics and feasibility, we opted for "SEPTIC TANK BAFFLE SYSTEM". Septic tanks are tanks which are used for drainage systems in rural parts of the country, where there is no central drainage system. It is predominantly made of
